Halloween: Spelling and Handwriting Task Cards

(0)
This resource is a great way for your students to work on their spelling and handwriting skills, plus it's linked to the theme of Halloween. Each page comes with two task cards on it with the same image/vocabulary. One task card is for spelling or handwriting - it comes with a prompt above so students can either use the included letters to match them or they can write in the boxes underneath to work on their handwriting skills. The second task card on the page is for students to work on their handwriting by having a prompt underneath, this is where students will overwrite the word. The task cards come in b/w and col option for your preference. ♦ Task Card 1: Students have a picture, prompt and then cut out letters to match to the words or use the prompt above to work on their handwriting in the boxes below. ♦ Task Card 2: Students over write the Halloween word. This activity does require you to do a bit of cutting and laminating but it is well worth it and will be long-lasting and beneficial to your pupils. Cut out the task cards and laminate them as your 'base'. Then cut out the individual letters and laminate these. I recommend laminating as they will last longer but if you want to use as a cut/paste activity with your students these will also be great.
